9th MARCH 2010 Chris Tsangarides is one of the most respected and successful producers in the history of rock and heavy metal, having produced albums for Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy. Last year, Chris appeared as himself in the critically aclaimed film "Anvil! The Story Of Anvil". SPiT LiKE THiS vocalist, Zion, takes up the story: "Even though our debut album has only just been released in various corners of the planet, it is nearly 3 years since we recorded it and we decided that we wanted the follow-up to come out hot-on-the-heels of the debut, to capitalise on the momentum we have built. 2009 was a strange year for us, so we aren't letting a second slide by in 2010. We have been writing for this album a while now - our first time as a band - and are really excited by the results. We started discussing potential producers last year and CT was top of our Dream List. I contacted him, half expecting zero response so was delighted when he returned my message. I was even more excited when the response was a positive one! We met up recently and he ticked every box we want in a producer so we cannot wait to get started. I know this album is going to be a show-stopper!" Recording starts at Chris's Ecology Studios in Dover on 5th July 2010. A website will lauch nearer the time to document the whole process. Meanwhile, the band's debut album has been released in the following territories on the Swedish label, GMR: UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Australia & New Zealand - with more to follow!
