It's all go here at SLT - we told you last month about how we signed our record deal plus a few scant details of the release dates of our single and album well, this month we can reveal to you the artwork, how to start pre-ordering copies plus a whole bunch of other exciting news...

SiNGLE NEWS
The death of the physical single in the UK has meant that we decided AGAINST releasing our forthcoming single on CD.  We are quite sad about that but, the fact of the matter is, places like HMV only stock singles by top chart acts so there was little point in us pressing up a load.  So this means that our debut single is a DOWNLOAD ONLY single on October 20th.  

The A-side is "Trick Or Mistreat" which is just about the most Hallowe'eny song ever recorded.  Perfect for any Hallowe'en party or simply to get you in the mood.  The B-side is our take on the Rocky Horror Show classic "Sweet Transvestite".  One reviewer called this simply "the best cover ever recorded", which is quite an accolade.  Rocky Horror creator Richard O'Brien called it "a fab spin on an old favourite".  Both the A and B side are brand new recordings and the B-side will only be available for a limited time.

ALBUM NEWS
Things are full steam ahead for the album "We Won't Hurt You (But We Won't Go Away)".  The release date is November 17th 2008 and it will be available for pre-order very VERY soon.  Released on Transcend Records via CARGO Distribution, we are very happy to announce that Cargo are fully supporting this release making it part of "Cargo's Collective" for December - an accolade afforded to just 10 acts each month!  Keep an eye on our website as pre-order details will be released their first. 

ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY
Of course, no album release would be complete without an ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY!  We have so many fans up and down the country, we decided to hold the Launch Party smack bang in the middle of the UK in Birmingham.  So, clear a date in your diary, NOVEMBER 8th at THE ASYLUM in Birmingham - you are personally invited to a night of chaos, fun, debauchery, more chaos and live performances.  It will also be your chance to buy a SIGNED copy of the album 9 days before release.  We are confirming all the entertainment at the moment but we have some great stuff lined up.  Best of all, IT IS FREE ENTRY FOR ALL!  (If any more street team members in Birmingham want to help out with this, please reply to this email!)

LATEST CONFiRMED SHOW DATES / APPEARANCES
We are playing a series of warm-up dates in small inimite venues to prepare for our appearance at the HARD ROCK HELL Festival in December.  We will also be appearing at a massive event in Birmingham in November where people will be able to meet us and have copies of our album signed.  Details of that will appear on our website soon!

SPiT LiKE THiS on TV with KERRANG'S EMMA SCOTT
We will be recording a TV appearance with Kerrang Radio's EMMA SCOTT next Thursday 23rd October (also Vikki's Birthday!).  The show will go out LIVE on SKY CHANNEL 186 so make sure you tune in!  Full details on our www.

SPiT LiKE THiS on PHOENiX FM in ESSEX
Last night we tookover Essex radio station PHOENIX FM for a full 2 hours of SLT action.  It was a great night and, best of all, it will soon be available for anyone that missed it.  As soon as it goes online, we will post it on our www.  More radio takeovers coming soon!

We mentioned a glowing review of our single earlier, thought you might like to read the whole thing: "To put it simply its the best cover i have ever heard, close your eyes and you can see Tim Curry, Lord Zion does the perfect impression (Maybe MTV should get him to play Frank-N-Furter in their remake tv special next year) and at one point i thought they had Little Nell on backing vocals, its as camp as a dvd box set of carry on movies! 9/10"

We are just a few short days away from release.  These are brand new recordings and sound amazing!  Both tracks are perfect for Hallowe'en and, as for how cool "Sweet Transvestite" is, I cannot put it any better than the review above.
