here at SLT - we told you last month about how we signed our record deal
plus a few scant details of the release dates of our single and album
well, this month we can reveal to you the artwork, how to start
pre-ordering copies plus a whole bunch of other exciting news...

Below is how our CD
single and CD album is going to look. Click on image for
enlargement. The CD album will have a full 16 page booklet, the
centre opening up to reveal the FULL album art. The album will also
be out on a Limited Edition 12" Gatefold - imagine how amazing that

THE SiNGLE NOW!
The single features two
tracks - one of our most popular songs "Trick Or Mistreat"
(which was recorded last summer for the album) backed with our take on
"Sweet Transvestite" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show
(recorded a few weeks ago!). Released on 20th October (just in time
for Hallowe'en), the songs are a great accompanyment to eachother and, of
course, to all those Hallowe'en parties you are bound to be having.
On 20th
October, the single will be released on 3 different formats: CD Single,
Limited Edition 7" Red Vinyl (numbered) and Download. YOU

ALBUM
RELEASE UPDATE
The album, "We Won't Hurt You (But We Won't Go Away)", will be
released on November 17th on Transcend Records via Cargo
Distribution. The catalogue number is TR185CD for the CD, TR185V for
the Limited Edition 12" Vinyl and TR185D for the Download. Keep
an eye on our site to find out when you can start pre-ordering this 13
track masterpiece!

Our gig schedule has gone to pot recently as the signing and subsequent
work involved with that has meant cancelling some shows. We are
trying to put together a tour to support the single at the moment so, if

Some bands have all kinds of extravagant clauses in their record deals
and, us being us, we wanted a clause that was befitting our status.
Step forward the SPiT LiKE THiS Cake Clause!
Yes, it is true,
clause number 23 in our Record Deal demands that we have a bloody great
cake at our very first Label / Band meeting! Now that IS rock n'
roll... Well,
we were all looking forward to summer and it seems that it never really
quite got going. Which is a shame. But you can consol
yourselves and make yourselves feel good by doing something for us, which
we did for you. We've spent the last few years being true to
ourselves and true to the people that care (YOU!) so we hope that RiGHT
NOW, when we need your support more than any, you will join in and
pre-order our debut single. This
is important for a few reasons.. 1) It shows our label that our fans
are supportive of SLT and, in return, they will have even more belief in
us and help us get further along and in more people's homes. 2) It
shows the distributers that we have fans out there so they will work
harder to get our records in more stores. 3) It shows those stores
that they can make money out of us and, as a result, more will stock our
music. Remember, this is all about the music. This is all
about taking this little band with wild dreams and ambitions and forcing
it upon an unsuspecting public! I love the thought of this country -
and country overrun by stuff like the X Factor - all of a sudden forced to
