May I be among the last to wish you a Happy New Year!  I realise that it is a bit late but, as this is the first time I've spoken to you, it just has to be said.  So, how was your Christmas and New Year?  Hope it was spectacular!  We had our customary Yearly Two Days Off before we journeyed to the Midlands for some Post-Xmas / Pre-New Years gigs.  And we haven't stopped since.  Read all about everything and beyond below!

NEW YEAR, NEW LOOK
The more eagle-eyed among you have probably noticed that the Noizletter looks a bit different.  Well, we have refreshed the online - and onstage - vibe for 2008.  Our main spitlikethis.com website has had a total facelift, as has our myspace page.  Hope you like it!  It's all in preparation of The Album...

And, speaking of the album, go and buy this month's copy of Alternative Magazine.  We have one of the tracks from our debut album on the CD covermount!  The song is called "Top Of The World".  We have just introduced it to the live set as well.  So far, feedback to it has been really positive - seems a lot of you can hardly wait for the CD.  Good!  Below it what the mag looks like, available from WH Smiths and the like.

We have also started letting some DJ's around the world have advance copies of the album.  Tracks of it have been playlisted on radio stations everywhere and club dj's have been spinning it on rock nights around the world.  Momentum is building and it looks like our hard work is going to pay off!

I hope you keep an eye on our website for gig updates.  Since we last spoke, we have done loads of gigs with bands as cool as LOVE/HATE and, just this past weekend, Swedish rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR.  Did you miss them?  Well, make sure you check our site regularly for updates!

We have really started booking hard and fast for 2008.  Plans to go to Europe are afoot - more news on that soon.  In the meantime, these are the shows being booked in the UK.  At the moment, they are confirmed but always check before travelling to the show.  If you want us near you and there isn't anything on the list, hassle your nearest venue or promoter - and us!  Below is the full list of gigs that are CONFiRMED as of today - please make sure you visit our gig page or myspace page to keep up-to-date on the latest shows:

ROCK HARD REViEW

THE END
We have had a great year so far.  We've already done a good handful of shows, with some great bands, and have started talking very seriously with people in Europe about us doing some dates over there.  Our reputation overseas is growing - our myspace has shot up a couple of thousand in the past month or so!  Most of those adds from Sweden / Japan / USA.  You might be wondering what is happening with the album?  Never fear, we are on the case!  Xmas always slows things down but the ball has been picked up again in the New Year.  

What I can reveal is that, within the UK, we have some Indies interested and, dare I say it, a major or two.  We are also talking to labels in other countries: Japan, USA, Sweden, France, Italy... We don't know what's going to happen yet but we are making some amazing progress.  The best place to keep up to date with things is through our site.

And don't forget to check out the website.  I am revamping all aspects of the SPiT LiKE THiS Universe - we have "re-branded" our Street Team so check that out too.  2008 is going to be exciting!
