It is finally finished!  The album we started on June 11th was finished early October.  Full details on it's development below.  Can hardly believe that it is all over.  Of course, the REAL fun begins now as we start the hunt for Licensing for it.  So far, so good.. although we do have to be a bit discreet at this stage.  Read on for more exciting SLT Stuff! 

THE ALBUM IS FiNiSHED
Yes it is true, after 36 days in the studio recording and mixing, our debut album was mastered on 3rd October.  I thought it sounded amazing BEFORE we had it mastered but it now sounds astonishing.  We are all, obviously, incredibly proud of our achievement.  It has been quite an adventure - sometimes gruelling, most of the time exhilerating - we cannot wait for you to hear it.  But, wait is what you will have to do.  Our big plan is simple: we now seek a licensing partner to get it into the shops around the world!  Easier said than done?  Not with SLT - we are fortunate to have some interested parties, so we will keep you up-to-date on developments.  Oh, and if YOU are a potential "interested party" and want to join in discussions, give us a shout.  Anyone wanting to read the final album Blog should go to http://blog.spitlikethis.com.

HARD ROCK HELL UPDATE

ViSiBLE NOiSE / SUBVERSE SHOW 
We have been asked by one of the coolest labels around, Visible Noise (home to Funeral For A Friend), to open their next Subverse Show held at the Underworld in Camden, London on 4th November.  We're pretty fired-up about this gig, not least because it is our first ever matinee show!  Yes, doors open at 2pm - get there early as, after our set, we're gonna have to shoot off coz we have ANOTHER gig that night!  You can't stop rock n roll!!  You can find out more at http://myspace.com/subverseclub

THE END
One massive chapter in our lives has come to an end and, as with all major things in life, when we finished our album, there was a hint of sadness.  On the whole, it had been a most enjoyable journey and it was cool to be working so hard.  Of course, the hard work pales into insignificance compared to what we have to do next - get ourselves a licensing deal and sell bucket loads of albums!  But I have every faith in us and our ability to do that and, more importantly, I have every faith in YOU, the people who continue to support SLT.

There are exciting times ahead - we're glad you choose to be part of it.
