Hey!
Apologies this NOiZLETTER is so late - all sorts of bits n pieces have
been happening, good, bad and ugly! Oh, and at the bottom of this

We were in the studio on 6/6/6 recording some bits and pieces for a
single. One of the things we recorded was a B-side but we have now
decided to give it to you guys, for FREE! As you know, we usually
only allow small snippets of our songs but we're in a generous mood and,
not only that, thought it was about time that we rewarded you for your
loyalty. The track, "Coming After You", is what we
currently open the set with so, if you're relatively new to SLT, you'll
know at least one song!

Get ready people, the Kerrang! Awards 2006 are heading this way. The most prestigious and star-studded of all rock n roll ceremonies will take place at a secret location in London on Thursday, August 24 and you could be there!

Every person who votes and is over 18 years of age will also be in with the chance to win their very own table at this years ceremony. What? as his label, BUT! RECORDS (the label we released SLEAZE
SELLS & SCARY
TALES thru) has expanded to the point where he can no longer
dedicate 100% of his resources in our direction. We will still be
working closely with him in his capacity as label boss but will seek Management
elsewhere.

BY JACK DANiELS!
Seems we have managed to get ourselves into trouble, YET AGAiN, this time
with drinks giant JACK DANiELS! Seems that they took offense to our
Smell Your Mum / Jack Daniels parody t-shirt. The
parody shirt depicts the famous Jack Daniels label with subtle
alterations. The words "Jack Daniels" were replaced with
"Smell Your Mum"; "Tennessee Whisky" was replaced with
"Offensive Clothing" and "Old No 7" with the Smell
Your Mum logo - a raised middle finger!
This is the
second time we have been in trouble over one of our designs.
Clothing giant NiKE threatened to sue after the release of our
"Chav...Just Kill It!" design
We have been
forced to withdraw the item from sale - we cannot take on the might of
such huge corporations. However, I do have this to say on the
matter:
"It is
pathetic and typical of big corporations. We are obviously way too Rock
'n' Roll for Jack Daniels, which is ironic when you consider how many rock
bands have half drowned in the stuff. It is also typically
hypocritical of big business. Tell me, in the big scheme of things, who is
the bigger criminal? The rock band that prints up a few parody t-shirts to
help pay for more studio time or the huge corporation that makes
intoxicating liquor and is responsible for contributing to the deaths of
tens of thousands of people each year"

25th BiRTHDAY PARTY!
Was held on 12th June at SiN
in LONDON. Was a pretty cool nite - invite only and free bar
til midnight :) Recent EUROViSiON winners LORDi were
there in all their glory and tons of other faces from the past, present
and future of metal. We got our pixx taken on the RED CARPET so
will try and get hold of them for the site

Blimey, I thought I'd never shut up! It has been a really busy month
with some unexpected twists and turns - all good stuff though. We
are going to be heading back into the studio real soon to start work on
our debut studio album - cannot wait! Already we have several
interested parties wanting to snap up the end result which is making us
even more eager to get to work.
