a big welcome to the hundreds of new people that have entered the SPiT LiKE THiS universe this month! we had an advert in KERRANG! magazine for our smellyourmum.com webshite and, as a result, hundreds have been initiated into the fold. on behalf of myself and everyone else in our universe - ARE YOU MAD?!!

we are soooo excited at our impending gig at the LiDO in MARGATE - we want to see as many of you there as can squeeze in the venue! you have to be over 16 to get in so, if you're lucky enough to look younger than that, bring iD so you don't get hassled. we've been told by the promotors that there are hundreds of stickers n stuff everywhere that our SLuTz have been, ahem, placing places - i trust this means there will be a big turnout!

dunno if the venue has provided flyers for you yet but, just in case they haven't, click on the link below and print out these flyers. better yet, if you're in that area, print out hundreds of the damn thingz and hand them out to anyone and everyone, dead or alive! we will see you all soon!!

gig announcement # 1

got another show lined up for you at the CARTOON CLUB, croydon on the 10th june. this is for a new promotor at the 'toon so a big thanx to them for putting us on and a big thanx to noel for putting us in touch with them. so, everyone in the croydon area, help us out and help them out by showing your lovely faces on that night. there will be 3 other bands playing: instraverse, fausto & ultra violet pilots - so real value for money!

14th may is the date to put in your diary as we are making an unscheduled but now scheduled stop at the HARP ROCK BAR, croydon (just round the back, ooer, of the 'toon). we will be putting on a blisteringly showstopping performance and cannot wait! we had such a great time in january when we last played there so, a big round of applause to big jon for sorting us out - thanx mate!

gig cancellation

it's a damn crying shame but, sometimes, shows have to be cancelled for one reason or another. we'll slot these cancellations under "another" for the time-being, until we find out otherwise! anyway, the cancelled shows were the ones planned for the cartoon (15th may), hitchin (may) & brighton (may). the good news is, we are going to use this newly freed up time to bundle ourselves into the studio to record a new ep for ya!

townies suck, innit!

to accompany our now near-legendary "do your bit to clean up the streets - kill a townie" t-shirt, we have added about 4 or 5 other townie related designs! since our ad in KERRANG! (issue 1003), these have been flying out of hq - it's glad to see that we want to claim back the streets away from these neanderthals!!

oh dear. oh dear oh dear!! ok, i will explain the whole story...
we had finished a busy day recording a demo of a song that we're gonna stick on our album so had entered into party mode. had been drinking reasonably heavily, was pretty wasted and was cranking out some loud music at 4am. then we heard an explosion... being the complete hero that i am (ahem), i grabbed my SWORD off the wall and ran outside to protect us all (ahem # 2) only to discover a dumped car ablaze!

so, there i was, with sword doing my conan stuff, with mr sinatra running around in his jason gear when the fire brigade showed up to put it out! apparently, they thought the "nutter with a broadsword" quite amusing, thankfully, and let me pose with their engine (pic on the left if you're getting html).. the whole fiasco ended at about 6am, no-one was hurt and the hangovers weren't *that* bad....

at last, i finally got around to editing together the footage from us backstage at the BORDERLINE, LONDON from way back in january. there is some funny stuff - the whole thing is about 15 minutes long so best to download only if you have broadband but, if you do, what a treat!!

we've been busy people on the movie front this month.. ok, it was a nice sunday evening and we were bored. we had just watched jackass the movie and thought that we could match the "airhorn at a golf course" sketch. so, airhorn in hand, we took a trip to the golf course...

the result is a 2 minute movie of us being retards, but it really is pretty funny so we thought we'd stick it online for you to gawp at how ludicrous life in a rock band can be at times! enjoy!!
