ok. i have to stay calm. deep breath. close my eyes. count to ten. do some zen stuff. don't know, not sure. just, every now and then, all the gods / planets / stars align to piss on your parade and the last couple of weeks have been just like that. i shall, of course, enlighten you in one of the sections below but stay with me people. stay with me. i'm still deep breathing here and, yup, i'm just about keeping control... oh, by the way, the news i have here is important and i want it to reach as many of you as possible sooooooo, seeing as a lot of you have your junk filters set on kill, i'm gonna *really* try to stay clear from the bad language on this newsletter. about 300 get junked a month because of my damn potty mouth. it's gonna be hard but, i'll see what i can do. anyways, go read some news!

pay attention, this is really important! first of all, ANYONE who has sent an email to one of our "@spitlikethis.com" addresses and is cursing our lack of response, it ain't our fault. the company that hosted spitlikethis.com went bust on the 29th january WITHOUT GIVING US ANY WARNING!!! i would like to here state what total c**ksuckers that makes them. what that means is that, until the domain name has a new ip address, you cannot access our awesome site through www.spitlikethis.com. THE GOOD NEWS IS, you CAN access it through www.rokklikefukk.com (along with a few other slightly ruder addresses that i shan't list here). SO, if you have sent an email to anything@spitlikethis.com since jan 29th, please RE- SEND that email to slut@rokklikefukk.com - our proper url will be up very soon, i promise!!

i'm gonna finish grumbling now, i promise! some great news! we're playing at the tek in essex on the 20th february 2004. it should be an awesome night, i cannot tell you how excited we are about this. i know there are a lot of you in and around the essex area so, WE IMPLORE YOU, puh-lease come down to support us! we want to be regular faces at the tek and, to achieve that, we need your help!

if you go to our tour page (link below), you will find information and updates. we're playing with 2 other bands that night, DISJOINTED and MANNER OF SPEAKING so it should be a great night. we can at least promise that a third of the night will blow your mind!

in march we're going to be playing on the 23rd at the HOPE & ANCHOR in islington. there will be 3 other bands playing (lowrider, psirens, final autumn) and we promise to tear the place apart (not literally speaking if a now worried promotor is reading this...). this is also stevie lee's birthday so you can expect the poor bugger to be put thru it onstage (we love you really stevie!! xx). it also looks like we will be playing SLIMELIGHT on the 27th, although keep an eye on the site for a confirmation on that.

not got all the details through yet but it would seem that some of our STREET SLuTz in kent have been doing us proud. had a call from a promotor who said "there are loads of kids in your t-shirts screaming for you to play" so, as a result, we will be at the margate lido sometime in may! give yourselves a big fat girlie kiss from us for that - you're a bunch of stars!

absolutely awesome! that's how good. and we loved it. great sound, great stage, great lights, great atmosphere. big thanks to everyone that came along and big thanks to those involved - YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!! got some great pictures from that show - follow the link below to see us mid show.

we filmed some great footage at the borderline too - some backstage shananigans that are going to take some beating. i'm in the middle of editing it together at the moment but, you can look forward to vg relieving himself on his drumkit, vikki spit's fine fine bottom, zion's jesus impression (ow, that really hurt!) and loads more... to view past movies, go click on one of the movie links that are scattered around. they are well worth it, i promise!

ok, ok, nothing quite as prestigious as the pop charts (smirk). not for us. not yet. but, we did make # 2 in the bribe charts on organart.com! believe it or not, we got beaten by a bar of bloody chocolate. sheesh - see, even when you follow the underground route and kick ass your own way, you STILL get beaten by saccharin in the charts...(!). nevermind, we are ECSTATIC to make # 2 anywhere and it just fuels the little fire that burns in our hearts to do better next time!!!

one of the side effects of us having to move servers is that various things need to be reconfigured, our message board was one of those. after many days of head and ball scratching, i finally got the damn thing not only back on line but, apparently, WORKING!! hooray for me.

hmmm. another downside of the sites going awol was that we have missed emails of gig offers from promotors who want us, need us, love us etc etc. IF YOU are one of those lovely promotors / club owners that we love and want to have babies by, PLEASE get in touch. your email addresses were lost when our sites went kaput - we need to build our contact list back up. i know we're not too good at the ass kissing thing - i guess we weren't bought up too good or something - BUT, we really do appreciate every opportunity we have been given to get our own special brand of NOIZ out there.

you've seen me at my lowest ebb this month people. my little world crumbled before my eyes and, to cap it all, i've had to kiss ass so we can get out and play to you guys. i sure hope you appreciate that. i'm not gonna be able to shift that bitter after taste for a while now... BUT, that is the law of the jungle, baby!! we have some cool stuff coming up. stevie just got a NOT DEAD YET tatt on his gut. me and vikki have been getting tatts up to our eyeballs and we've also had some really exciting meetings lately about the future of spit like this. just keep an eye on us.
