22nd August The
latest issue of SKiN
DEEP magazine hits the shelves today with a
double-whammy for SLT. First up, a report from
Download where we were backstage. Vikki got her
fingers tattooed there and it made it into the mag.
Next up, in a report from the recent TATTOO
JAM: "Headliners SPiT LiKE THiS totally
rocked the Kerrang stage" - you should've been
there!
18th August The
shoot for our video should be happening on 4th September
in a secret location in Surrey. The video will be
for our October single release and will feature everything
you would want in an SLT video... SLT, sex, subversion and
cool cars!

are having the photoshoot for our album tomorrow with top
rock photographer TiNA

is all this nonsense about a "Cake Clause" being
written into our Record Contract? Well, it is
true! We insisted that the clause be written in to

August Last week, when we recorded the B-side to our
debut single, we invited one of our fans MiKE BiSHOP
in to write a studio report. This report has now
been posted

August Just spent two days in the studio with our
producer, PAUL
TiPLER, recording the B-side to our forthcoming
single. It sounds amazing, cannot wait for you to
hear it - and buy it! There will be a studio blog by
one of our fans who we invited along for a day, so check
back for that soon!

August Gig Cancellations: we have had to cancel our
small tour of the Netherlands (due to start September) as
we will be needed in the UK to make videos and promote our
forthcoming single (out October 20th). Apologies to
everyone who will have to wait to see us, we promise to
re-schedule as soon as we can!

ANNOUNCEMENT:
After
years of struggling on the underground music
scene; pushing the boundaries of decency and good
taste wherever we could; ignoring
"advice" to moderate our performances or
to tone down our extremeties, we are proud to
announce that, yesterday, on 3rd August 2008, WE
GOT SiGNED!
So,
before I continue, a big FUCK YOU to
everyone that did not believe in SPiT LiKE THiS!
We shall be vindicated!!
We
have been talking with several labels for a while
now but decided to make our home with Indie label TRANSCEND
MEDiA GROUP (also home to Fields Of The
Nephelim & Belisha). We are as excited
by them as they are with us. They are a
forward thinking label that totally understand the
SPiT LiKE THiS ethos.
Our
debut single will be out on October the 20th
followed by our debut album, titled "WE
WON'T HURT YOU (BUT WE WON'T GO AWAY".
Distribution by both will be via CARGO.
We will have more information soon.
Below

fashion, we wanted to make a bold statement of our
signing so we did it live in front of an audience
at SKiN DEEP magazine's TATTOO JAM,
which we headlined the day before...
Keep

as they come. This is only the beginning for
us. We are unbeatable, we are unstoppable -
as CYNDi proved on the way back from SLT HQ
last night when he crashed his car, crawled out of
the windscreen (which had been smashed by his
head) and dusted himself off! He is OK
though and ready to continue our onward march.

is a new interview with me (ZiON) online now over

BY MUSiC. The interview will only be on for
a few weeks so, read it while you can!

will be a telephone interview with me (ZiON) this
evening on STAR
RADiO ROCK SHOW (Cambridge). You can tune in
on 107.9/1 FM or listen

broadcast between 7 and 10pm, I will be on from 9pm,

are delighted to announce two huge major
developments in the SPiT LiKE THiS
Universe. To say we are excited about this
is an understatement as it represents a HUGE leap
forward for us and will result in dramatic
advancements for SPiT LiKE THiS over the
next few months!
We
have taken on a Manager - GARY RAYMOND from
RTB MANAGEMENT. Gary is also the
manager of KOOPA,
the Punk trio who, last year, took the industry by
storm by being the first ever unsigned band to
enter the UK Top 40. We are looking forward
to seeing what we can achieve together with Gary!
Secondly,
we now have an Agent, RiCHARD SMiTH at NICE
IDEA PRODUCTiONS LTD. All future
bookings will be made via Richard and, more
importantly for us, you should see us on some
impressive bills supporting major bands in
countries around the world!

RADiO debuted us on his show on 25th May.

He also said some very nice things about us. From

had an email from a nice lady called Dawn - the PA to RiGHT

sad day in the history of SPiT LiKE THiS - our
beloved hearse, The
Boner, is up
for sale on eBay. It needs a load of work
done on it and, due to our commitments, if we keep it, it
will just sit around continuing to rot. It deserves
a better life than that, so it is time for it to have a
new home. The end of an era.

is a massive interview with me (ZiON) in ALL
ACCESS MAGAZiNE available in Los Angeles, USA.
As far as we know, this is the first major bit of press we
have enjoyed Stateside. Tens of thousands of print
magazines are distributed in LA and over 1.5 million

you are enjoying the new look website! There is
still lots for me to do but the bulk of it has now been
done. Keep your eyes peeled for new stuff added
daily though. I am also re-vamping our street team
website. As well as re-vamping it, we have changed
the name of our street team to STREET SQUADRON.
It has grown so much, it really is like a small army, full
of Squadrons. Over time it will develop so there are
Squadron Leaders etc. It is still very much
"under construction" but you can view
the site here. And, if you haven't signed up
yet, why not?!

Announcement: we are opening for HARDCORE
SUPERSTAR, one of the biggest bands from Sweden,
this SAT 19th JAN at the INTAKE
CLUB in MANSFiELD, NOTTS. Also on the
bill are fellow Swedes CRAZY
LiXX. This gig is especially cool for us as,
it was at a HCS gig that, in between throwing up
everywhere, I decided to quit the band I was in to start
SLT with Vikki!
13th January The
website and myspace are having a major facelift. For
the next week or so, it might look a bit funny in places
and some stuff might not work properly. Bear with
me, I'm going as fast as I can! Normal service will
be resumed ASAFP

in the shops any day now is the Jan/Feb issue of ALTERNATiVE
MAGAZiNE featuring a track off our new album on
the CD Covermount! "Top Of The World" is
the song in question - one of our personal favourites.

Gig Announcement: We have been asked to appear in a
production of DRACULA which will be filmed for
TV. Naturally, we have accepted! We will be
playing ourselves in the show, performing some of our
songs. This will take place from WEDS 2nd APRiL
until SAT 5th APRiL in ESSEX. Any more
than that we do not yet know. Full details coming
