29th January Gig Announcement:  We are playing a one-off Charity concert in aid of Amserjustintime - the charity set up in honour of TiGERTAiLZ bass player PEPSi TATE who died in 2007 of Pancreatic Cancer.  The concert takes place at FUEL ROCK CLUB, CARDiFF on SAT 4th APRiL

12th January Spent the weekend shooting a music video for the lead track off our album, "Sex, Drugs & Heavy Metal".  The two day shoot was directed by acclaimed B-Movie director JOHNNY CRASH.  Day 1 was shot in a warehouse on the coldest January day in 10 years.  It was about -8 with no heating.  Man, we suffered!  There will be a blog coming soon and, of course, the end results will TOTALLY blow you away!

5th January Happy New Year everyone!  We have some very exciting news coming up but, it will have to wait for now.  In the meantime, a new interview with me (Zion) has been posted on ELECTRiC PUSSYCAT

18th December Our planned XMAS PARTY in ESSEX tomorrow has been cancelled due to illness.  Apologies to everyone, we were really looking forward to it.  In all the years I've been gigging, I've never had to cancel a show through being sick, so I'm personally gutted!

15th December Listen to TOTAL ROCK RADiO tonight at 8pm for the HARD ROCK HELL SPECiAL

13th December We have just been informed that we have been voted the 7th BEST BAND of HARD ROCK HELL II.  That is quite an achievement.  There were 47 bands on the bill including us, virtually ALL of them much bigger bands.  Couple that with the fact that we were on the middle stage AND we had an early stage time, that is pretty impressive!

NOVEMBER 2008
29th November We will be doing a video in the first week or two of 2009. Jan 9th, I believe, is the proposed date. We are working with acclaimed B-Movie director, JOHNNY CRASH (look him up on IMDB) and the vid will be to the opening track on the album, "Sex, Drugs & Heavy Metal". It is going to be a riot of technicolour B-movie bad ass so we will keep you posted on that!

29th November New BLOG posted

28th November We are having our XMAS PARTY SHOW at THE HERMiT in ESSEX on FRi DEC 19th.  The Hermit was one of the first venues to really embrace SLT so we thought we would celebrate our great year with some close friends.

25th November Well, the good news is that the album is selling really well.  REALLY well.  HMV keeps selling out!  Finally, they took the hint and have ordered enough that should keep them going for a while and it is now in more stores.  Anyway, thought it might be handy to tell you exactly where to buy it. I know loads of you have it on your Xmas lists so might want to pass the info on to whomever is buying it for you. I know loads more are buying it for their friends and family for Xmas, and I know a helluva lot more just cannot be fucked to wait for Xmas and WANT IT NOW!!  So here is where you can get it:

Our advice is to phone up and reserve a copy.  There are also Indie stores around the country that stock it, Zavvi main stores stock it, most online retail stores stock it and most download sites. Although why anyone would want to download it when, for a similar price you can get the physical and dwell in it's sexiness is beyond me!

I hope that stops some of the problems some of you have been having. If you are still undecided, do one of two things: a) have a brain transplant or b) read these comments we've been getting and just buy it!!

22nd August The latest issue of SKiN DEEP magazine hits the shelves today with a double-whammy for SLT.  First up, a report from Download where we were backstage.  Vikki got her fingers tattooed there and it made it into the mag.  Next up, in a report from the recent TATTOO JAM: "Headliners SPiT LiKE THiS totally rocked the Kerrang stage" - you should've been there!

18th August The shoot for our video should be happening on 4th September in a secret location in Surrey.  The video will be for our October single release and will feature everything you would want in an SLT video... SLT, sex, subversion and cool cars!

18th August We are having the photoshoot for our album tomorrow with top rock photographer TiNA K

26th May Life doesn't get much stranger than this!  Last week we had an email from a nice lady called Dawn - the PA to RiGHT SAiD FRED.  They had seen our "I'm So Sexy I Shit Right Said Fred" T-shirts (available for just £12.99 from our SMELLYOURMUM.COM merch site!!) and wanted some of their very own.  Well, last night me (ZiON) and ViKKi were ViP'd at one of their shows in London and here we are, with Fred & Richard resplendent in their new tops.. 22nd May It is a sad day in the history of SPiT LiKE THiS - our beloved hearse, The Boner, is up for sale on eBay.  It needs a load of work done on it and, due to our commitments, if we keep it, it will just sit around continuing to rot.  It deserves a better life than that, so it is time for it to have a new home.  The end of an era.

12th May We have been moved to the MAiN STAGE of the SKiN DEEP TATTOO JAM in August.  This is great news for us as it means that we open up for none other than THE WiLDHEARTS!  Way back when SLT started, GiNGER's encouragement for our music helped us realise that we were onto a winner.  For us to now open for him is one of those full-circle experiences that make being in this band so fucking exciting!  If you haven't got them already, visit the TATTOO JAM WEBSiTE and get your tickets!

24th February Got an amazing review from our recent gig at DiABLESSE from ORGAN mag: "Spit Like This are a defiantly healthy shock rock throw back. Four of them, looking good and sounding even better. Classic punked-up no messing shock-rocking glam metal stomp – think Madam X, early Crue, Wolfsbane, Misfits, Alice Cooper, early days of Poison, Twisted Sister (before things got all MTV slick), think all that and stick in a great big blender with some London X factor, shake it all up, stir it just a little and throw it all right back up along with all the fake stage blood and the soiled tampon damage. Painted leather, big black hair, even bigger attitude - smoke machines, riffs, fluorescence colour, Ant-beats, lurid skulls, theatrics and everything as over the top as it could possibly be – no one does it quite like Spit Like This! Horror glam punk rock is what they call it and on stage is where it all comes to larger than life reality. This is not twee indie music for the faint hearted! Lord Zion up front demanding attention, Vikki Spit driving things with her meaty bass lines, Cyndi Rott with the punk-metal riffs and Vile Gilez banging the beat. – the four of them are just one big brash shock-metal riot-ball rolling right on at you and assaulting all your senses at once... 16th January Hope you are enjoying the new look website!  There is still lots for me to do but the bulk of it has now been done.  Keep your eyes peeled for new stuff added daily though.  I am also re-vamping our street team website.  As well as re-vamping it, we have changed the name of our street team to STREET SQUADRON.  It has grown so much, it really is like a small army, full of Squadrons.  Over time it will develop so there are Squadron Leaders etc.  It is still very much "under construction" but you can view the site here.  And, if you haven't signed up yet, why not?!

13th January Gig Announcement: we are opening for HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, one of the biggest bands from Sweden, this SAT 19th JAN at the INTAKE CLUB in MANSFiELD, NOTTS.  Also on the bill are fellow Swedes CRAZY LiXX.  This gig is especially cool for us as, it was at a HCS gig that, in between throwing up everywhere, I decided to quit the band I was in to start SLT with Vikki!

13th January The website and myspace are having a major facelift.  For the next week or so, it might look a bit funny in places and some stuff might not work properly.  Bear with me, I'm going as fast as I can!  Normal service will be resumed ASAFP

5th December Gig Alert: We are playing the 12 BAR in SWiNDON, WiLTS on SAT 29th MARCH '08.  Full details TBC. 

3rd December Reserve your copy NOW of ALTERNATiVE MAGAZiNE, Issue 8.  There is a cover-mount CD featuring a brand new track off our debut album in all it's glory!  This track, TOP OF THE WORLD, is one of our favourites.  We might even be doing a video of it soon.  Release date for the magazine is 28th December - the ideal way to cure those Post-Xmas-Blues!

3rd December Gig Alert: We are playing for ORGAN MAGAZiNE @ DiABLESSE in THE LARK IN THE PARK on SUN 10th FEB.  Diablesse is an event that takes place after the monthly LONDON FETiSH FAiR and is full of  dungeon rooms, doms, subs, TVs, goths, punks and all sorts of wierd and wonderful people!  £10 entry. over 18's only

30th November Gig Announcement: We have been asked to appear in a production of DRACULA which will be filmed for TV.  Naturally, we have accepted!  We will be playing ourselves in the show, performing some of our songs.  This will take place from WEDS 2nd APRiL until SAT 5th APRiL in ESSEX.  Any more than that we do not yet know.  Full details coming soon!
